Ways to Give
Everyone gets involved — give whatever you like. However you choose to take part, your gift funds the teachers, science labs, arts, and student support that make SIES special. Donations are tax-deductible through the Coastal Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity.
Give to Grow: our year-round campaign
The simplest way to give, any time of year. Our goal is 100% school participation: every family, at whatever level feels right. Families who donate receive SIES stickers, and every gift goes straight to work in classrooms.
Soar on Skimmers Fun Run
Every fall, all students participate in a school-day fun run, collecting pledges through personal fundraising links shared with family and friends. Registration runs through RunSignUp.
Spring Auction
Our largest single fundraiser — an online silent auction with in-person gatherings each spring. Bid, donate an item, become a sponsor, or volunteer.
Directory & Signs — business sponsorship
Local businesses sponsor placement in the school directory and on school-fence banner signage. Fully tax-deductible, and seen by the whole school community. Learn more for businesses →
Family & corporate gifts, any time
Direct gifts from families and businesses are welcome all year. Email hello@siesfriends.org and we'll make it easy.
Volunteer your time
Not every gift is a donation — FRIENDS runs on volunteers, and there's a role for everyone.
Spring Auction
Join the planning committee for the Spring Silent Auction. Opportunities range from collecting auction items to planning the event itself. FRIENDS has a role for everyone to help get involved and raise funds for SIES.
Soar on Skimmers Fun Run
True to its name, the Fun Run is an enjoyable event for everyone. You can get involved as a race-day volunteer or by committing a bit more time to join the committee.
General interest
If you want to get involved with FRIENDS but don't see a specific event above, we still need your help. We need support throughout the year and are always looking for volunteers.
