FRIENDS runs on four moments across the school year — from fall sponsorships to the spring auction, with our year-round Give to Grow campaign always open.
Directory & Signs
Fall (September)
Local businesses sponsor placement in the school directory and on school-fence banner signage — putting their name in front of the whole school community. Sponsorship is fully tax-deductible.
How to take part: Become a sponsor — email us to reserve directory or sign placement.
Soar on Skimmers Fun Run
Fall — next event: October 23, 2026 (date to be confirmed)
An all-school event during the school day — all students participate! Kids collect pledges through personal, shareable fundraising links sent to family and friends.

Give to Grow
Year-round (peaks November–December)
Our core annual campaign. Everyone gets involved — give whatever you like! The goal is 100% school participation, and families who donate receive SIES stickers.

Spring Auction
Spring (March)
Our largest single fundraiser — an online silent auction paired with in-person gatherings, from a kickoff lunch to a cocktail party at local venues. The community donates art, travel, dining, wellness, teacher experiences, "Principal for a Day," and the beloved "Paint the Rock" series.

About the auction's tradition
The spring auction has been an island tradition for years — known historically as "Auction by the Sea" and more recently themed around "The Rock." The theme evolves each year; the community spirit doesn't. Details and the 2027 date will be announced.
